Just as important though, is a donation in time to help put up signs, call neighbors, or waive signs encouraging people to get out and vote days before the election. The election on October 6th, 2009 is coming quickly. The maximum contribution allowed by law is $500 per individual per year. Corporate checks and anonymous contributions are prohibited. The law requires we report the names and addresses of all contributors and the occupation and employer for contributions in aggregate totaling more than $99 per calendar year. The name of the person signing the check shall be reported as the contributor.
